Remote access to the back-end application is restricted using a multi-level, multi-zone firewall configuration. The front-end applications that provide reporting data and the API's that access Sitestat measurement data also have regulated access on a per-user basis.

Nedstat has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification which testifies that the Information Security Management System is compliant with international standards, ensuring the highest level of data protection available.

Multiple data centers ensure that even in the highly unlikely event of failure there are continual off-site, near-line backups of all customer data. The data centers are well-protected and have a direct connection to the international Internet backbone.
