Nedstat launches visitor engagement in Sitestat
Amsterdam, 19 January 2010 - Nedstat announces the release of visitor engagement in Sitestat. The new engagement measurement makes it possible to unveil engaged visitors based on the interest they have in an online offer and the actions they take. Marketers can select visitor groups based on their engagement level and zoom in on their behaviour. This allows for much improved targeting of campaigns and content to customers and prospects.
Visitors are differently engaged with a site. Some only visit a homepage, others browse around and perhaps download a study or manual or watch a video and yet others post a blog commentary. Existing metrics such as 'time spent on site' or 'number of visits' do not adequately reflect how engaged a visitor is with an online offer.
Sitestat's new engagement measurement allows you to unveil engaged visitors based on their browsing behaviour. By assigning numerical values to pages and events, website owners can establish the engagement factor of each of them. As visitors browse the site, these values are added up and determine their level of engagement.
With Live Segmentation users can select visitor groups based on the engagement level and zoom in on their behaviour. This allows marketers to better target campaigns and content to their preferences and significantly enhance the online experience of customers and prospects.
"The engagement measurement adds a new dimension to looking at your visitor information", says Ulrike Ziegler, VP Marketing at Nedstat. "You can now, for instance, compare the engagement level of visitors coming to your site via different campaigns. Perhaps some campaigns bring you highly engaged visitors and others don’t. This helps you to bring more focus to your campaigns and allocate your marketing budgets more efficiently."
The new engagement functionality is available to all Sitestat customers at no extra costs.
